chrisevans-sexualfrustrations: Guys, in case you didn’t know, there was an explosion in Boston today, at the finish line of the Boston marathon.  As of now, the details are still unknown, but there have been over twenty people injured and two confirmed dead (according to the ABC News broadcast I have on in the other room). If you can, please donate to the Red Cross today (or later this week, if like me, you’re waiting for a paycheck).  Also, if you are a local Bostonian, please see if you can donate blood.  The hospitals in the area are going to need it. “I think the Rays are not going to win tonight.”

— Boston Globe sports columnist DAN SHAUGHNESSY, during a broadcast on NESN last night: the Red Sox / Orioles game was in a rain delay, and the Rays were losing 7-0 to the New York Yankees.

The Yankees lost, of course, giving Tampa Bay the AL Wild Card, while the Red Sox — well, we all know what happened there.

Chickens, not hatched, but counted.  By a Red Sox fatalist, no less.
